Who We Are

Spotty Dog Campsite is a new venture situated along the John Muir Way at Twechar, near Kilsyth and Glasgow.

We are perfectly situated for a range of outdoor activities and local attractions. We also have our own activities on site. We welcome all adventurers and wanderers alike no matter the scale of their adventure or accompanying companions.

Surrounding Area

Spotty Dog Campsite is easily accessible from Glasgow and surrounded by villages and places to visit.

Being close to Twechar, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch there are plenty of facilities and locations to visit.

We are situated right next to the Forth & Clyde Canal along a section of the John Muir Way. This makes us well positioned for any walkers, bikers or canoeists following either of these epic routes.

We are near Bar Hill which is the location of a roman fort that was positioned along the Antonine Wall. Therefore if you are interested in adventure, history or local villages we have something to offer you.

Activities

Our campsite is aimed at passers by during their adventure but we welcome anyone. We also, through partners, offer our own adventures.

We operate with an outdoor activity company, SD Adventures, and can therefore offer a variety of outdoor pursuits.

We also operate with Saltire Paintball who provide a variety of paintball experiences for a different ages.
